CAA Product Help
(HELP ?) Circles provide narratives on Training, Explanations, and Hints. These can be related to the overall screen, or to specific items on the screen.
You found the (HELP ?) Circle narrative for “Using the Profile Screen” by clicking the (COMPREHENSIVE HELP ?) Circle on the “ADD PROFILE” Screen or the “VIEW OR UPDATE PROFILE” Screen in PrayerLink (hereafter referred to as “PROFILE” Screen) or any of the other screens related to “Profiles” that have this (COMPREHENSIVE HELP ?) Circle.
You came to the “PROFILE” Screen in one of three ways:
- When you clicked the “ADD NEW PRAYER PARTNER” Hyperlink in the Navigation Panel for the “PRAYER PARTNERS” Screen.
- When you clicked the “EDIT” Hyperlink in the “PROFILE MGMT” Column on the “PRAYER PARTNERS” Screen.
- When you clicked the “PHOTO” in the “PROFILE MGMT” Column on the “PRAYER PARTNERS” Screen.
Overview: General Information
In your PrayerLink system, all the information about a Prayer Partner person can be viewed and updated on the “PROFILE” Screen.
This screen is used to “Add” a new Prayer Partner person to your system (called “creating a contact record”). It is also used for viewing existing contact records; and for “Modify” " making changes or updates.
This screen is used by both Administrator Module Users and Member Portal Module Users. When logged in via the Member Portal, there is far less functionality available. A member cannot “Add” a new person, and they cannot see or update all the data about themselves that is typically available to administrators.
There are several areas of the “PROFILE” Screen that will be easier to use correctly if you read the (HELP ?) Circle narratives. These narratives reinforce the training you received and assist in keeping you current with new changes to the screen. Sometimes they also provide “hints” on how or why you would want to do something a certain way and how it might save you some time or provide more utility from the system.
In the overview of (HELP ?) Circle narratives that follows, we will describe the full set of Help narratives " those that might be seen by Administrator Module Users.
